A: GET SLIM provides gourmet calorie-controlled meals made with the finest ingredients cooked fresh and delivered to your door twice a week. GET SLIM is a healthy calorie and carb-controlled program that relies on lean proteins, fresh fruits, vegetables, good fats, and low glycemic carbs. GET SLIM is not just a diet - it is a complete dining experience. Whether you are looking to achieve weight loss or maintain good health, GET SLIM has all the tools to help you reach your goals effortlessly!

A: As a GET SLIM client, you will receive all of your freshly prepared meals at your home twice a week. Your meals are packaged in containers that can be heated in the microwave. Please refer to our recycling tips for all your delivery materials.


Q:How does the food stay fresh when you deliver 3 to 4 days at a time?   - Back to Top 

A: We use a process called MAP- Modified Atmospheric Packaging. In this process, there is a vacuum pump that removes air from the meal container and simultaneously inserts nitrogen - an inert gas. This keeps the food from oxidizing and allows it to stay fresher longer.


Q: What results can I expect from GetSlim?   - Back to Top 

A: Your results will depend on which program you choose and the amount of commitment you decide to put into it. Remember, you will have the benefit of your personal GET SLIM consultant to help you along the way in order to reach and maintain your goals.


Q: What is the average weight loss?   - Back to Top 

A: Daily calories range from 1200-1400 calories for women and 1800-2000 calories for men. You will begin to see results in a few weeks of eating fresh gourmet meals. Although client results may vary, most people lose 1-3 lbs. per week thereafter.


Q: Will I gain back the weight once the program is complete?   - Back to Top 

A: At Freshology, what you feed your body is a way of life. Eating healthy leads to a happy and healthy emotional and physical well-being. Once you try the GET SLIM program, you will have the knowledge to eat properly, understand portions and maintain your weight loss with the right commitment.


Q: What if I have no weight to lose? - Back to Top 

A: If you have no weight to lose, we encourage you to stay with the program. It is a balanced diet that has many benefits to improve overall health. Some of the countless benefits are increased energy, the promotion of lean muscle mass and better mental clarity to name a few.


Q: Should I speak to my doctor? - Back to Top 

A:Yes. Speak to your doctor and find out what diet plan works best for you. You can then work with your GET SLIM consultant to personalize you program.


Q: Should I eat all three meals and dessert even if I'm not hungry? - Back to Top 

A: You should most definitely eat all three meals and the dessert. Healthy eating is all about hormonal responses to food. The balance will shift if you do not eat everything that's provided for you in your program. At GET SLIM, we calculate your daily nutritional requirements, so that you don't have to. All we ask is for you to eat & enjoy!


Q: What should I drink? - Back to Top 

A: Water, water, water! You should drink at least eight glasses of water a day even if you are not on the GET SLIM program. Be sure to drink one eight-ounce glass of water before each meal. Try to limit coffee to one cup if possible. Caffeine and artificial sweeteners can have a negative effect on your insulin levels; therefore, it is best to keep them at a minimum.


Q: Can I drink alcohol? - Back to Top 

A: You can have alcohol but remember to drink in moderation. For example, you can replace one snack with a glass of wine. In addition, combine it with some protein - such as low-fat cheese. Remember that alcohol is high in sugar content, which increases insulin levels. This in turn can sabotage your weight loss.


Q: What if I go on vacation and need to take time off? - Back to Top

A:Contact your GET SLIM consultant 7 CALENDAR DAYS before the day you need to leave. We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide. The extra deliveries will then be added to the end date of your program. You can also suspend your GET SLIM program and then return to your GET SLIM program at any time.


Q: What if I am allergic to or dislike a particular food? - Back to Top 

A: If you have any food allergies, or dislike certain foods, your GET SLIM consultant will design and personalize your program to your preferences. Please be sure to take the opportunity to let us know what your needs are.


Q: Should I eat before working out? - Back to Top 

A: Most definitely! Eating a small snack 30 to 45 minutes before your workout will ensure that you are balancing the hormonal benefits in your body, which in turn helps to burn body fat.


Q: Should I take supplements? - Back to Top 

A: Always be sure to consult your physician if you have any further questions.


Q: What is the GET SLIM program delivered in? - Back to Top 

A: Your program will be delivered in FedEx boxes on dry ice to ensure the delivery of your fresh food.


Q: What can I do to recycle my packing materials? - Back to Top 

A: We at GET SLIM have a global awareness and we care about the environment and understand the need to recycle containers and packing materials. There are some great suggestions on Page 8 of this Startup Packet for recycling and/or re-using your packing materials. In order to recycle the Styrofoam that will arrive in your delivery boxes, you can visit EARTH911.ORG to find recycle centers in your area.


Q: How do I heat the food? - Back to Top 

A: In order to heat in the microwave, we recommend that you remove the food and place it on a plate before microwaving it for 2-3 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. If you don't have the time or convenience to do so, then you can remove the lid from the microwavable container and heat for 2-3 minutes.


Q: Do you have a cancellation policy? - Back to Top

  1. A 7 calendar days notice is required prior to any program cancellations. If you choose to cancel, you will be refunded for any undelivered food. All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to
    customerservice@freshology.com.
