How does it work?

As a Freshology client, you will receive all of your freshly prepared meals at your home or chosen location before 6 a.m. daily.  Your meals are packaged in recyclable containers that can be heated in the microwave.  Leave your empty coolers at your doorstep to be picked up by 6am.

Where are Freshology daily deliveries available?

Freshology delivers to most zip codes in Los Angeles and Orange County on a daily basis. Please consult with your customer service representative to confirm that we deliver to your zipcode.
 
What if I only want lunch and dinner instead of the entire program?

The Lifestyle Program allows you to order the meals for the day that you are interested in receiving. Consult your Freshology Representative at 877-893-7374 in order to customize a program for your lifestyle and nutritional needs.
 
What number of calories does each day contain?

Daily calories range from 1150-1400 calories for female portions and 1600-2000 calories for male portions, depending on the program you select

How can the Freshology weight loss programs help me lose weight?

What if I have no weight to lose?

If you have no weight to lose, we encourage you to stay with the program. It represents a balanced diet with many benefits to overall health, including increased energy, the promotion of lean muscle mass and better mental clarity, to name a few. If you choose, Freshology can easily add an additional snack or protein to your daily program to help maintain your weight.

What is the average weight loss?

Daily calories range from 1150-1400 calories for women and 1600-2000 calories for men (based on the program you choose).  You will begin to see results in a few weeks of eating fresh gourmet meals. Although client results may vary, most people lose 1-3 lbs. per week thereafter.

How long before I see any results?

Within the first 5 days, your body will adjust to the portions and begin to alter your cravings thereafter. Some of our clients lost between 2-5 lbs in their first week by strictly sticking to Freshology weight loss programs. You should start to feel your clothing fitting a little looser within 2 weeks on the program.
Will I gain back weight once the program is complete?

At Freshology, what you feed your body is a way of life. Eating healthy leads to a happy and healthy emotional and physical well-being. Once you try any of our Freshology programs, you will have the knowledge to eat properly, understand portions and maintain your weight loss with the right commitment.
How long can I stay on a Freshology meal Program?

We have had many success stories where a client starts on the program to lose weight and they continue to stay on our program to continue living a healthy lifestyle. We don’t represent a diet- we represent a healthy lifestyle where we provide nutritionally balanced gourmet meals that you will love! This is the way you should be eating everyday- just let Freshology buy, prepare, cook and deliver it right to your door. Let us do all the work for you.
How do I pay for my meals?

All Freshology Programs must be prepaid before the first delivery and may be purchased by credit card. Freshology accepts AMEX, VISA, MasterCard.
Do you offer the option to continually receive the meals without having to call or place an online order?

Yes, but you must select that as an order option when you place your order. Please inform the customer service representative on the phone when you place your order or make that selection when you place your online order. You have the option for this automated service, which will be renewed and billed to your credit card 3-5 business days prior to the beginning of your program.
What if I go out of town during a scheduled meal delivery and need to take time off?

We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide with a minimum of a 3 business day notice prior to your delivery. The extra days will then be added to the end date of your program. You can then return to your Freshology program at any time.
Do you have a cancellation policy?

Cancelling WITHIN the first 3 days of receiving your first delivery:

  1. Requires written notice from you via email to customerservice@freshology.com.
  2. Freshology Cancellation Processing Policy- Cancellation takes 3 days to be processed, due to the fact that each program is made-to-order.  Upon cancellation, you will be charged for the meals that are already scheduled for delivery (3 days).
  3. After your cancellation has been fully processed, your unused balance will be credited to the form of payment used for the original purchase.  Please allow 10-14 days for your refund to be credited to you.
Can I have my meals delivered to an alternate address?

Yes. Contact your Freshology Consultant 3 business days before the delivery date in order for us to make the adjustment to your program.
Can I order the program for only weekdays?

Absolutely! The Freshology Programs (except for The Edge Program) are designed for our clients with busy lifestyles who may not require 7 days of meals. You can select which days you would like to have Freshology meals whether it is once a week, to 7 days a week.
 
How soon will I begin to receive my meals?

3 business days after signing up.
How are Freshology meals delivered?

As a Freshology client, you will find a stylish black energy efficient cooler bag every morning at your doorstep by 6 am. It will arrive with a safety seal to ensure the meals have not been tampered with after its delivery. A menu with the description of the meals, simple heating instructions and directions if the meal should be served chilled or heated is enclosed on the side of your cooler. Any substitutions will be noted on labels placed on the side of your individual meal containers. Ice packs are included to keep the cooler at a regulated temperature until you are able to refrigerate the contents or pick it up on your way out the door. At the end of the day, just leave your empty bag, including ice packs, outside of your door to be picked up when your new fresh delivery arrives.
What if there is a problem/error with a meal that has been delivered?

If you have any question or concerns about any meals that you have received, please contact the Customer Service Department at 877-893-7374 immediately.
How long can I keep meals in my fridge?

The Freshology Meals can be left in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after delivery (depending on the protein).
How do I heat the food?

In order to heat in the microwave, we recommend that you remove the food and place it on a plate before microwaving it for 2-3 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. If you don’t have the time or convenience to do so, then you can remove the lid from the microwavable container and heat for 2-3 minutes depending on the main protein of your meal.   There are detailed heating instructions on your daily menus.

Can I add seasoning to the meals I received?

Yes, we recommend that you use low sodium seasoning whenever possible.
 
What if I have high cholesterol?

 Freshology offers an alternative to foods high in saturated fats. Freshology also offers only lean proteins.

Do you offer an organic program?

At Freshology, we use only top quality, premium ingredients.  Our meals are created using only all-natural proteins with no added hormones & antibiotics , responsibly farmed and sustainably caught seafood, top quality produce, and whole rains.  We do not add any artificial flavors or preservatives to your meals.

What if I am allergic or dislike a particular food?

If you have specific allergies or dislike certain proteins (poultry, red meat, seafood), your Freshology consultant will design and personalize your program to your preferences within the menu guidelines we have inplace.  Please let us know what your specific needs are in order for us to ensure that we are able to accomodate them.
Do you have a meatless menu?

We have meatless options to fit into most of the Freshology programs (the Edge and Gluten Free do not have a vegetarian option).
What if I’m on medication?

We suggest consulting your physician before you start this or any other nutrition program.
Can I do the program if I am breastfeeding?

Our Fresh Mommy program is designed for nursing mothers. The menu has been designed to exclude certain items that are known to cause discomfort to both mother and child (i.e. broccoli, cauliflower, chocolate, high mercury seafood, etc.). Fresh Mommy provides a healthy, nutritious, balanced diet for the optimal health of both mother and child.
What can I do to get the most effective results on the Freshology Program?

In order to get the best results, we advise you not to add any extra meals or snacks on top of what you are already consuming with our program. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and avoid drinking more than 1 caffeinated beverage, along with sodas, juices, alcohol or sugar-filled drinks. We also advise, upon your physician's approval, to incorporate physical activity and exercise at least 3 days per week.
Stick to the program! Your Freshology consultant is there to answer all your questions and support you during your entire program.
Should I eat all the meals on each day even if I am not hungry?

You should most definitely eat all meals and snacks. Healthy eating is all about hormonal responses to food. At Freshology we calculate your daily nutritional requirements, so that you don’t have to. All we ask is for you to eat and enjoy!

What if I am still hungry?

If you are still hungry, we ask that your drink an 8oz glass of water. Sometimes we mistake our body as it being hungry, when in reality it is dehydrated. If you are still very hungry, during the first 2 weeks of transition, we list snacks that are under 150 calories in our Recommended Snack List available in your Welcome Packet.
What should I drink?

Water, water, water! You should drink at least eight glasses of water a day even if you are not on a Freshology program. Be sure to drink one eight ounce glass of water before each meal. Try to limit coffee to one cup if possible. Caffeine and artificial sweeteners can have a negative effect on your insulin levels; therefore, it is best to keep them at a minimum
Can I drink alcohol?

You can have alcohol but remember to drink in moderation. For example, you can replace one snack/dessert with a glass of wine. In addition, combine it with some protein such as low-fat cheese. Remember that alcohol is high in sugar content, which increases insulin levels. This in turn can sabotage your weight loss.
 
Should I exercise while on the program?

Research has shown that an active lifestyle is a critical factor in successful weight loss. While it's true that physical activity supports consistent weight loss, its role is even more critical in long-term weight loss. Remember, as long as you use up more calories than you consume, you will always lose weight.
 
What guidelines does Freshology follow?

What is GETSLIM Silver?

GETSLIM Silver is the first gourmet flash frozen weight loss program delivered right to your door! GetSlim Silver starts at 35.95 per day plus S&H.
How does it work?

As a GETSLIM Silver client, you will receive all of your prepared meals at your home or chosen location once a week via FedEx with all your meals for the week which will include 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 7 dinners and 7 desserts. The boxes are sent with a cooling system that ensures the proper temperature management of each box. Please keep in mind that should you cancel before the end of you plan, your daily rate may be prorated if you received a promotional rate. Your Freshology consultant will remind you towards the end of your program so that you have the choice to renew your program or take time off and resume at a later date. Remember, Freshology meals are freshly prepared. After an order has been placed, your fresh fruit and vegetables, produce and other ingredients are ordered. If you have a sudden emergency (out of town, etc.) please arrange for a friend or relative to pick up your meals.
Can I have my meals delivered to an alternate address?

Yes. Contact your Freshology Consultant by 4pm on the Tuesday preceding the shipment date in order for you not to have to experience a delay in the receipt of your package.
Can I order the program for only weekdays?

Absolutely! Our 5-day meal delivery plan options offer the perfect balance or structure and flexibility for those who eat out or travel as part of their lifestyle.
Can I do the program if I travel a lot?

Absolutely. If you contact your Freshology Consultant by 4pm on the Tuesday preceding the shipment date, we can route our national program to accommodate your travels plans.
Can I have me order sent to a P.O. Box?

No. FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box
How soon will I begin to receive my meals?

9 to 15 days after signing up.
How are GETSLIM Sliver meals sent out?

All GETSLIM Silver meals are flash frozen and are packaged in a temperature controlled box with insulated material to keep the meals at the highest standards of safety and quality. Everything is then shipped via FedEx 1, 2 and 3 Day Ground and Express, depending on where you live.
How will I know my delivery is on the way?

Freshology or FedEx will not call before delivering the package. It is your responsibility to know a package is coming since you placed the order. An automatic email will be sent to you however, once your package has been shipped you will receive a tracking number for your reference. In the event that you do not receive the tracking information, please notify us immediately.
What happens when the package arrives at my door, but I am not home to receive it?

FedEx will only make one delivery attempt, and will leave your meals at your doorstep without a signature. In addition, a FedEx delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery. The meals will be left for you in a sealed weatherproof cooler and will be safe and cool when you arrive home. When you arrive home, please place meals in your freezer. If you will not be able to pick up your package at the end of the day of the delivery, since the package is perishable, we strongly advise you to arrange for someone to be available to place your meals in a freezer upon delivery. We do recommend you choose a delivery day that will not result in an unattended delivery for an extended period of time.
What if my box arrives and the meals are defrosted?

If your box arrives and the meals are defrosted, do not be alarmed. As long as the meals are still refrigerator cold to the touch, your order can be placed in the fridge with no impact on the quality. Your heating instructions will need be adhered accordingly. If you are not sure, then call Customer Service at 1-877-893-7374.
How long can I keep the meals in the shipping package?

All packages keep frozen for up to 3 days with our special packaging. Remember, if you live in a warm weather climate to be mindful of that when receiving your package. We recommend that all customers refrigerate/ freeze their meals immediately upon receiving them.
What can I do to recycle my packing materials?

We at GET SLIM have a global awareness and we care about the environment and understand the need to recycle containers and packing materials. There are some great suggestions in your Startup Packet for recycling and/or re-using your packing materials.In order to recycle the Styrofoam that will arrive in your delivery boxes, you can visit EARTH911.ORG to find recycle centers in your area.
What if there is a problem/error with a meal that has been delivered?

If you have any question or concerns about any meals that you have received, please contact the Customer Service Department at 1-877-893-7374.
How long can I keep meals in my freezer?

The GETSLIM Silver flash frozen meals will stay fresh in your refrigerator for up to 3-4 months from receipt of your cooler
How do I heat the food?

With our Go Green containers, you can heat your meals in the microwave oven. Heating instructions are labeled on the container.
What about the sauce?

Each meal has individual heating instructions.
If I skipped a meal, how long will it last until I can get back to it?

Use By dates are printed on the meal labels. This date is the last date we would recommend the meal be eaten on.
Should I take supplements?

Freshology meals promote the proper amount of vitamins and minerals. However, we do recommend Omega-3 Fish Oil as a wonderful source of health-promoting omega- 3 fatty acids. Always be sure to consult your physician if you have any further questions.
Can I add seasoning to the meals I received?

Yes, we recommend that you use low sodium seasoning whenever possible.
What if I have Diabetes?

This program is safe and very beneficial for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. By sticking to the program, you can greatly reduce your insulin dosage and lead a healthier life. Freshology programs focus on lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and low fat. Our program portions out your meals using only lean proteins and low glycemic fruits and vegetables. The lean protein is what keeps you feeling full and maintaining your blood sugars. We avoid any of the simple sugars like white bread, refined sugar, and pasta. These spike your blood sugar then drop rapidly and cause you to be hungry again shortly after eating.
Do you have kosher menus?

No, we do not.
What if I have high cholesterol?

High cholesterol is a result of eating foods high in cholesterol. Freshology offers an alternative to foods high in saturated fats. Freshology also offers only lean proteins.
Do you offer an organic program?

GETSLIM Silver does not offer an organic program however we use ONLY premium, antibiotic & hormone free proteins, wild caught or sustainably farmed fish, with roasted, baked and braised fruits and vegetables.
What if I am allergic or dislike a particular food?

If you have a shellfish allergy, or dislike certain proteins (poultry, red meat, seafood), your Freshology consultant will design and personalize your program to your preferences. Please be sure to take the opportunity to let us know what your needs are, so that we may design a program specifically for you.
Do you have a meatless menu?

We have meatless options to fit into any GETSLIM Silver menu that includes fish.

What if I am still hungry?

If you are still hungry, we ask that your drink an 8oz glass of water. Sometimes we mistake our body as it being hungry, when in reality it is dehydrated. If you are still very hungry, during the first 2 weeks of transition, we list snacks that are under 150 calories in our Recommended Snack List available in your Welcome Packet.
What should I drink?

Water, water, water! You should drink at least eight glasses of water a day even if you are not on a Freshology program. Be sure to drink one eight ounce glass of water before each meal. Try to limit coffee to one cup if possible. Caffeine and artificial sweeteners can have a negative effect on your insulin levels; therefore, it is best to keep them at a minimum
Can I drink alcohol?

You can have alcohol but remember to drink in moderation. For example, you can replace one snack with a glass of wine. In addition, combine it with some protein such as low-fat cheese. Remember that alcohol is high in sugar content, which increases insulin levels. This in turn can sabotage your weight loss.
Can I have caffeinated beverages on the program?

We suggest you do not drink caffeinated drinks on the program. Try tea or water!
Should I exercise while on the GETSLIM Silver Program?

Research has shown that an active lifestyle is a critical factor in successful weight loss. While it's true that physical activity supports consistent weight loss, its role is even more critical in long-term weight loss. Remember, as long as you use up more calories than you consume, you will always lose weight.
Should I snack before working out?

Most definitely! Eating a snack 30 to 45 minutes before your workout will ensure that you are balancing the hormonal benefits in your body, which in turn burns body fat.

What can I do to recycle my packing materials?

We at GET SLIM have a global awareness and we care about the environment and understand the need to recycle containers and packing materials. Where is Freshology Gold Available?

Freshology Gold is available throughout the 48 continental United States (we are not yet available in Hawaii and Alaska). We ship all orders via FedEx delivery to your home or office. Please note: If it is sent to your office, FedEx has the right to deliver your package between 8am-8pm. If your office closes before that time and FedEx delivers your package and you are not there to receive it, Freshology will not be responsible for meals that were not able to be consumed.
What number of calories does each day contain?

Daily calories range from 1150-1400 calories for women and 1600-1800 calories for men.
Do you have menus?

We have sample menu on www.freshology.com and you will receive your own personal menu with each shipment via email prior to the delivery of each shipment.

Will I gain back weight once the program is complete?

How do I pay for my meals?

Freshology Gold must be prepaid at least 7 calendar days before the first delivery and may be purchased by credit card. Freshology accepts AMEX, VISA, and MasterCard.
Do you offer the option of auto renewal?

Yes. Please inform the customer service representative on the phone when you place your order or make that selection when you place your online order. You have the option for this automated service, which will be renewed and charged automatically for each program term.
What if I go out of town during a scheduled meal delivery and need to take time off?

Contact your Freshology Gold Consultant at least 7 calendar days before the day you need to leave. We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you provide to the best of our ability. The extra days will then be added to the end date of your program. You can then arrange to resume your program at a later date with 7 calendar days prior notice.
How do I renew my program?

Your Freshology Gold consultant will remind you towards the end of your program, and you will receive an email reminder, so that you have the choice to renew your program or take time off and resume at a later date.
Can I have my meals delivered to an alternate address?

Yes. We will need 3 business days notice prior to your ship date in order for you not to experience a delay in the receipt of your package.
How are Freshology Gold meals sent out?

All Freshology Gold meals are FRESH and are packaged and sealed in special containers, then placed in a shipping box with insulated material to keep it at the utmost quality and meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Everything is then shipped via FedEx 1 and 2 Day Ground and Express, depending on where you live.
How will I know my delivery is on the way?

An automatic email will be sent to you with a direct link to your FedEx tracking informatoin. Please check your emails to make sure you are receiving our notices (in case they are in your SPAM filter). Once the shipping label is created, you will receive a tracking number for your reference. In the event that you do not receive the tracking information, please notify us immediately (tracking information is sent to you every week no later than Tuesday's for the box shipping on Monday and no later than Thursday for your box shipping on Wednesday). Freshology or FedEx will not call before delivering the package.
Can I do the program if I travel a lot?

Absolutely - as long as we are given a one week notice, we can send your meals to any location within the United States (except for Hawaii and Alaska) to accommodate your travels plans.
Can I have my order sent to a P.O. Box?

No. FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box.
What happens if the package arrives at my door, but I am not home to receive it?

FedEx will only make one delivery attempt, and will leave your meals at your doorstep without a signature. In addition, a FedEx delivery record will be conclusive proof of delivery. The meals will be left for you in a sealed weatherproof cooler and will be safe and cool when you arrive home. When you arrive home, please place meals in your refrigerator right away. If you will not be able to pick up your package at the end of the day of the delivery, since the package is perishable, we strongly advise you to arrange for someone to be available to place your meals in a refrigerator upon delivery. We do recommend you select from the available delivery dates that are scheduled for the national programs when you order so that your box won't result in an unattended delivery for an extended period of time.
How does the food stay fresh when you deliver 3 to 4 days at a time?

We use a process called MAP - Modified Atmospheric Packaging. In this process, there is a vacuum pump that removes oxygen from the meal container in order to slow down the oxidation process of your meals. This allows the meals to stay fresher longer.
How long can I keep the meals in the shipping package?

You should remove your meals from their boxes the day they are delivered and place them in the refrigerator. Remember, if you live in a warm weather or extremely cold climate, be mindful of that when receiving your package. Again, we recommend that all customers refrigerate their meals immediately upon receiving them.
What do I do if my wet ice packs are melted?

If your meals arrive and the wet ice packs are melted, do not be alarmed. As long as the meals are still refrigerator cold to the touch, your order can be placed in the fridge with no impact on the quality. If you are not sure, then call Customer Service at 1-877-893-7374.
What do I do with the empty box and ice water packs?

We suggest that your shipping boxes be recycled and your ice water packs be reused or disposed in the trash.
What if there is a problem/error with a meal that has been delivered?

If you have any question or concerns about any meals that you have received, please contact the Customer Service Department at 1-877-893-7374.
How do I heat the food?

We recommend that you remove the food and place it on a plate before microwaving it. If applicable, we recommend heating your breakfast (after removing any fruit or sauce containers) for 1-2 minutes, lunch (after removing any sauce containers) for 1.5 to 2 minutes and dinner (after removing any sauce containers) for 2-3 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave.
What about the sauce?

Taste the sauce first before you pour it over the meal (either before or after the meal is heated). It is not recommended that the sauces in their plastic container be placed in the microwave to be heated.
If I skip a meal, how long will it last until I can get back to it?

“Use By” dates are printed on the meal labels. This date is the last date we would recommend the meal is consumed.
Should I take supplements?

Freshology Gold meals promote the proper amount of vitamins and minerals. However, we do recommend multi vitamins and Omega-3 Fish Oil as a wonderful source of health-promoting omega- 3 fatty acids. Always be sure to consult your physician if you have any further questions.
Can I add seasoning to the meals I received?

Yes, but we recommend that you choose a low sodium option whenever possible.
Can I order the program for only weekdays?

Absolutely! Freshology Gold is delivered twice a week with 2-3 days worth of meals for the 5 day delivery schedule. You will have the flexibility to eat on your own for 2 days out of the week in case you go out to dinner or are not home to eat your Freshology Gold meals. Remember, FedEx does not deliver any packages on Monday so, if you would like to begin your program on a Monday, place the meals you receive on Friday in the refrigerator and begin consuming them on Monday in order to stay on your schedule.
What if I am allergic or dislike a particular food?

If you have a shellfish allergy, or dislike certain proteins (poultry, red meat, seafood), your Freshology Gold consultant will design and personalize your program to your preferences within our program guidelines. Please be sure to take the opportunity to let us know what your needs are so that we may design a program that best accommodates your needs.
Do you have a vegetarian option?

Yes, we do offer a vegetarian menu; however our menu does include seafood. This allows your program to have more variety during the 28 day menu cycle.
What if I have Diabetes?

This program is safe and very beneficial for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. By sticking to the program, you can greatly reduce your insulin dosage and lead a healthier life. Freshology Gold focuses on lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and low fat products. Our program portion controls your meals using only lean proteins and low glycemic fruits and vegetables. The lean protein is what keeps you feeling full and maintaining your blood sugar levels. We avoid any of the simple sugars like white bread, refined sugar, and pasta.
What are some of the low glycemic index foods that Freshology uses?

Freshology utilizes many low glycemic index foods everyday in their meals. Some examples include apples, peaches, mangos, melons, apricots, whole grain breads, whole grain pastas, kidney beans, oatmeal, barley, broccoli, green beans, peppers, tomatoes, and yogurt.
What if I'm on medication?

We suggest consulting your physician before you start this, or any other, nutrition program.
What can I do to get the most effective results on the Freshology Gold Program?

In order to get the best results, we advise you not to add any extra meals or snacks on top of what you are already consuming with our program. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and avoid drinking more than 1 caffeinated beverage. We suggest avoiding all sodas, juices, alcohol or sugar-filled drinks. We also advise, upon your physician's approval, to incorporate physical activity and exercise at least 3 days per week.

Should I exercise while on the Freshology Gold Program?

YES! Research has shown that, along with a nutritionally balanced diet, fitness is the critical factor in successful weight loss. Remember that weight loss is an energy equation. You need to burn more calories than you take in each day. Once your body gets used burning more calories than taking them in, you keep yourself from gaining weight and can even create a calorie deficit to keep the scale trending downward. Any substitutions will be noted on labels placed on the side of your individual meal containers. Ice packs are included to keep the cooler at a regulated temperature until you are able to refrigerate the contents or pick it up on your way out the door.
