Lisa is a Registered Dietitian and also earned a Masters degree in Nutritional Science from California State University Los Angeles.
Lisa studied at the Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa, conducted research projects at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles and was employed by Kaiser Permanente as a Health Educator, where for eight years she presented diet, health and nutrition seminars to both patients and physicians.
She has been interviewed as a diet expert by magazines such as Us Weekly and STAR, and has been a guest expert on KABC-TV Eyewitness News, CBS, FOX, KFWB News Talk Radio and KABC Talk Radio. Currently, she is a special correspondent for Perez Hilton's celebrity website fitperez.com.

Dr. Nick has served for eight years as medical director of the largest network of community health centers in San Diego. Nearly 8 years ago, Dr. Nick temporarily retired from all of his job commitments to address his own personal health needs. Throughout 2001 he took a radical sabbatical and drove 38,000 miles, visiting every state in America, and in the process achieved an enduring transformation of his personal health by losing 270 pounds! He did so without surgery and through a massive modification of his personal lifestyle and daily habits. His life story has been featured in People Magazine, Reader's Digest, Washington Post, New York Times and on CNN, Fox News, “Focus on the Family” and The National Enquirer. He is currently advocating for the many others in his community and around the world who are struggling with their health.
